Development
Documentary Film & Non-Scripted Series
This is where big ideas take shape. I find great joy in finding extraordinary characters and concepts and figuring out how to make them real. We'll flesh out the concept to have a polished story for a beautiful short or feature length documentary or an intriguing non-scripted series. We’ll also find the best way to fund it. Finding the right partner to help produce the project is critical. It ain’t easy, but it’s fun.
Producer
Pre-production, Production & Post Production
Attention to detail and communication make a great producer. In pre-pro the budget is created, permits and location are set, the shooting schedule is lined up, and the right crew is hired.
During production, thinking ahead is key. I’ll manage the day to stay on schedule, ensure the Director and DP can do their jobs, the talent is happy and everyone on set is fed and enjoys the work.
In post, communication is crucial. There are a lot of moving parts: managing the post-production team, scheduling feedback rounds, providing creative feedback, and hitting key milestones to get the team to the finish line on time.
I work hard to ensure vibes are high and everyone feels heard and respected throughout all phases of production.

I’ve told stories my entire life. Stories would get me into and out of trouble as a youngster. In my twenties I briefly studied improv at The Second City, performed stand-up, wrote, acted and produced the comedic short film Killing Santa and hosted a local television series.
I helped cover the culture and art beat for what is now known as Axios Charlotte Agenda and as a student journalist at Hussman School of Journalism and Media, I reported and produced stories for Carolina Connection. I told brand stories and created full-funnel marketing campaigns as a marketing manager for Lenovo.
In 2019, I produced and hosted The Feral Show podcast in which I interviewed guests to understand their journey to create.
